 St. Lucia offers a wealth of options for the visitor who wishes to spend part of their vacation in and around the clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. One can choose from a variety of water sports including water-skiing, sunfish sailing, wind surfing, and jet-ski riding. Also, sailing excursions, whale watching, deep sea fishing, scuba diving and much more. The island has a number of seasoned experts, qualified, and authorized operators who are readily available to provide you with an activity to suit your specific needs.
Most water sports facilities are an integral service of all the major beach resorts. However, should you be staying at a hotel which does not provide any of these services, there are a number of private operators located at most of the popular public beaches which can service you.
Persons interested in snorkelling and scuba diving are required to seek the services of authorized licensed operator as most of the best underwater marine sites are within the St. Lucia’s Marine Management Parks (protected areas).
